Upgrading the corporate website
http://www.digitalrealtytrust.com – It’s now apparent that I will constantly upgrade the corporate website. I have generated a list of very small items spread throughout the site that I want to correct/upgrade/do more efficiently. The good news is that I don’t believe we will do any sort of significant redesign in early 2009.

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Calculator I am managing some developers to build out a calculator on our website that allows a user to input data about constructing a building or constructing a datacenter.

http://www.salesforce.com – As the SFDC administrator I constatly see how different departments can use SFDC in completely new ways.

Leasing – keeping track of leasing information and details is key in a real estate company, especially a publically-traded company. The good news is that I recommended we use SFDC Contracts and I think we will end up using SFDC to database our leasing statistics.

Inventory – as a real estate company, we have to know what is available, what is leased, and what projects are almost complete. Therefore, I’m building out an inventory management application using Force.com and custom objects.
